House buying

I could not be more excited today because I am headed to Seattle to check out a house I might be purchasing. I am very happy to be starting this next part of my life. Owning my first home, in my favorite city, brings a smile to my face. Cross your fingers that it's everything I have ever dreamed of (and the weather is nice :).

Go-Karting

Since I was not home for father's day, I took my father go-karting for one of his presents. I had such a fun time. I am lucky to have such an amazing man to call father. He is one of the most hard working men I have ever met, so I figured a little go-karting might be perfect. Why is it so hard to find gifts for dads?
I was quite embarrassed because my father lapped my younger brother, David, and I. I am quite the dare-devil behind the wheel and thought there was no way he could beat me. Boy was I wrong. This last picture is of my dad and I lapping David. Which David claims to be the fault of bad machinery.

Boating

Today we are headed out on a friends boat. I am so excited because it is one of my favorite summer activities. Hopefully, I will get a tan ;)

Change

Today, I was thinking about change. You can not change others. You can only change yourself. It is nice to think that you can change a boyfriend, family member, or friend but unless they want that change to occur, it's impossible. Instead of focusing on others change, I am going to work on making myself the best possible person I can be. Why focus on thinks you cannot change?
