Calico Cupboard

i am headed to utah today!!! i get to see my mom, dad, and little brother. i'm quite sad because mike didn't think his back was up to take the drive and flight. but, i know i will have fun with my family. i plan on skiing &snowshoeing my little heart out. also, cafe rio is on my list of things to try.

we took mike's mom to church and it was so fun. she got to help me out in my sunbeam class and all of the kids loved her. mike got to get up during primary in his flight suit and talk about how he helps people. i think his mom was quite proud. i couldn't get over how hot he looked up there ;)

on the day before his parents headed home, we took them to a restaurant called calico cupboard. it had pretty awesome reviews and we wanted to try it out. everyone but me loved there meal. i ordered bbq salad and the bbq sauce had way to much sugar. they even shared a warm cinnamon roll after. i was quite surprised because i turned it down. since when do i turn down dessert?
